印度海關繼續嚴格執行新的海關條例KYC(Know Your Customer)。根據規定,除了文件,在印度所有的收貨人或進口商必須提供貨物 KYC文件,無論貨物的價值。
所有的清關,必須在收件人提供了KYC文件之后才能完成,以確認收貨方身份和地址建立個人信息。收件人可以在貨物已到印度或到印度之前提供。
影響:目前印度因執行新海關規定,已產生大批量清關延誤,為了減少去印度包裹產生清關延誤,當發件人寄件時:
1,準確填寫收件人姓名,聯系方式,地址等信息,確保印度當地能夠及時聯系收件人
2,確保提單和發票收貨人信息一致
3,當貨物到印度,主動提醒收件人提供KYC文件給到kycdocs@fedex.com(收件人處理步驟如下),一次性提供,將能避免清關延誤
4,KYC文件收貨人信息必須與提單和發票收貨人信息一致
收件人處理步驟如下:
KYC process for consignees:
1. Upon arrival of the shipment, FedEx will contact the consignee on the phone number or email address provided on the Air Waybill to request the KYC documents.
2. Consignees must provide:
(a) Prescribed address proof self-certified and signed as a “True Copy” (see list of accepted documents in the KYC form)
(b) Prescribed ID proof self-certified and signed as a “True Copy” (see list of accepted documents in the KYC form)
(c) Signed letter authorizing FedEx to clear the shipment
(d) Completed and executed KYC form
Note: The name and address on the KYC documents must match the name and address mentioned on the Air Waybill and invoice.
3. Customs clearance will only commence upon receipt of satisfactory KYC documents.
4. If the KYC documents are not received within 7 days of arrival of the shipment, it will be removed from the active cage. The abandon process will be initiated after 30 days of arrival as per customs regulations.
